Beth Collier

This guest was a stretch goal for me. At the beginning of the year, someone challenged me to reach out to someone I wouldn’t see saying yes to an interview with Actually, Ashley… but she did!

Beth Collier is passionate about helping people improve their communication, creativity, and leadership skills.

She began her career in TV and film production in Los Angeles, and has held diverse communication and leadership roles on three continents, including a decade in financial services in London.

Beth now runs a leadership consultancy and helps people become more capable and confident speakers and writers, and more creative thinkers and leaders.

Originally from the US, Beth has lived abroad for 20 years. She is relentlessly curious and shares stories inspired by business, history, and pop culture in her weekly newsletter, Curious Minds on Substack. Inspired by pop culture, she points to great examples of what people do well and what they don't from a leadership and communication standpoint.

Professionally, Beth is most proud of helping people. From improving their communication and leadership skills to overcoming public speaking fears to unlocking their creative talents... she helps people shine and reach important goals like a getting a promotion, stronger relationships, more innovative ideas, more respect, more confidence, and joy!

Personally, Beth is proud of raising two curious, creative, considerate kids. This is good because she’s in the business of curiosity, creativity, and communication!

We’ll talk about what she’s saying yes and no to lately, a new workshop she offers on imposter syndrome, why sponsorship is the new mentorship, and how she manages to create such a standout newsletter every time.

If you’re feeling a bit uninspired with making “content,” I sincerely urge you to join us Wednesday, April 24th at 9am MST.
